Join USC Arcadia Hospital’s Diabetes Support Group, a welcoming space for individuals managing diabetes to connect, learn, and share experiences.

Held monthly, this group offers education, encouragement, and practical tips to help you better understand and manage your condition.

Led by healthcare professionals, topics include nutrition, medication, lifestyle changes, and coping strategies. Whether newly diagnosed or seeking ongoing support, this group is here to help.

Note: Our virtual class is hosted by Victoria Pacheco, RD, an experienced registered dietitian from the Community Outreach Department at USC Arcadia Hospital. She specializes in providing nutritional counseling to patients with diverse needs, such as gestational diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and weight management concerns.

What We Will Cover

  • Diabetes Management Strategies: Learn practical tips for managing blood sugar levels, including medication adherence, stress reduction techniques, and creating an effective daily routine.
  • Nutrition and Meal Planning: Explore how to plan balanced meals, understand carbohydrate counting, and make healthier food choices to support diabetes control.
  • Coping and Support: Share experiences and gain emotional support while discovering tools to manage the challenges of living with diabetes positively and sustainably.
  • Note: Classes on 1/28, 5/20, and 9/23 will be held at the Pavilion Conference Room (Outpatient Pavilion Building)
