Dev Patel, MD, is a cardiologist at Keck Medicine of USC, who specializes in diagnosing and treating patients with a full range of heart and blood vessel conditions.
Dr. Patel’s research interests include strategies to advance cardiac imaging, as well as ways to further improve safety and procedural outcomes for heart disease patients. He is also focused on medical device development, with an emphasis on tools that will help physicians better visualize patients’ arteries and heart chambers and enhance diagnostic capabilities. Dr. Patel regularly presents his research at prestigious medical conferences around the country.
In addition to his clinical and research responsibilities, Dr. Patel serves as a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians.
When he’s not working, Dr. Patel enjoys playing basketball, camping in the San Bernardino Mountains and taking road trips along the Pacific Coast Highway.
