Brooks V. Udelsman, MD

Brooks Udelsman, MD, MHS, is a thoracic surgeon at Keck Medicine of USC, who specializes in treating malignant and benign conditions affecting the chest, esophagus, stomach and lungs. He is highly skilled in advanced surgical techniques, including robotic-assisted surgery, to ensure the best outcomes possible. When patients come to see Dr. Udelsman, they can expect treatment that is tailored to their individual needs and values.

Dr. Udelsman’s research interests include developing ways to improve the delivery of health services. He is also focused on advancing surgical palliative care, and his work has been supported by nationally competitive funding. Dr. Udelsman has co-authored dozens of peer-reviewed articles and is often invited to present his research at national conferences.
