Karen Haiber, MD

Karen Haiber, MD, specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and blood disorders, with a particular focus on gastrointestinal tumors at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, part of Keck Medicine of USC.

After earning her medical degree at the University of Arizona, Tucson, she moved to California to complete her internship and residency in internal medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. She went on to complete her fellowship in hematology/oncology at the Keck School and Los Angeles General, formerly known as Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center, where she also served as chief fellow.

She is the recipient of several awards for medical excellence, including from the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Haiber grew up in the Ahwatukee neighborhood of Phoenix, AZ. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to new places and spending time at the beach with friends and family.
