Shannon Bradley, MBA
Chief Health Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Officer
Keck Medicine of USC

Shannon Bradley, MBA, serves as the inaugural chief health equity, diversity and inclusion officer with Keck Medicine of USC. In this role, Bradley leads diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts throughout the health system, establishing and tracking goals across the health system to ensure their success.

She collaborates with the USC leadership and staff to advance DEI, building healthier communities by supporting efforts to provide culturally intelligent, inclusive and responsive care for patients, and recruit and retain an equitable, diverse workforce.

Previously, Bradley served as the assistant vice president and division director of diversity, equity and inclusion for HCA Healthcare’s Gulf Coast Division in Houston. During her tenure, she increased the diversity of the health system’s board members for Asian and Black members by 45% and 24% respectively.

She also launched multiple networks bringing together employees of common demographics, backgrounds and interests, and increased participation in the networks from just under 300 participants to over 3,000 in three years. In addition, she initiated a health equity collaboration that resulted in significant improvements in maternal health outcomes among women of color.

Bradley hails from Austin, Texas. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Emporia State University and a Master of Business Administration degree with a health care administration specialization from Baylor University. She was named Outstanding Diversity Champion in 2021 and Outstanding Head of Diversity in 2022 by the Houston Business Journal.

Shannon and her husband Dwight are the proud parents of two wonderful children. In her free time, Shannon regularly volunteers with organizations that address literacy, health care, and food insecurity needs.
